A crowded outburst of faded orange terraces emanate from a fallen branch.

The caps serving both the function of roofs for those looking for shelter or patios for for those looking for a lookout. It bustled quickly and bursted slowly. A blip of new life on a relatively ancient foundation.

Eight more formidable ~3cm tall towers reach upward to defy gravity and take advantage of this force to distribute its spores.

Around the time I found these Orange Mycena, they were becoming extremely common. On nearly every hike during August 2020f I was bound to find at least a single cluster, if not several clusters.
